Our History

The origins of NQL go back to 1985 with the formation of Siam Transportation. The formation was created out of the necessity to service a large copper processing plant. In 1987 Siam formed a brokerage division to outsource TL and flatbed services for accounts in the industrial Midwest. Through the years, many strategic carrier relationships were formed that today still define the buying power of NQL.

During this same period, Elite Freight Systems was formed. Elite was formed on the same premise of serving a few companies that were finding it difficult to find a quality carriers to perform plant shuttle and regional Midwest TL services. In 2007, Elite formed a strategic partnership with T-Force Worldwide. The partnership allowed Elite the ability to offer its client base the buying power of T-Force Worldwide’s logistics network.  Through state of the art technology, quality LTL carrier partnerships and Elite’s commitment to customer service, this partnership grew and still defines NQL LTL and other outsourced transportation solutions.

In 2009, Siam Transportation and Elite Freight Systems merged to form National Quality Logistics.  This strategic partnership greatly expanded the service offerings for customers of each company.  Customers instantly enjoyed virtually any transportation service offering from a single source, while still getting the superb quality and customer service that defined both Siam and Elite Freight Systems, Inc.
